Just a quick note to let everyone know we are on the first leg (of many) of our trip home. We left Jiaozuo at 5am on Monday. It was so hard to say good-bye; there were many, many hugs and tears over the last several days!
We are now in Beijing, or outside it actually, at Philip Hayden Foundation's Shepherd's Field (www.chinaorphans.org - check them out!). We have had two very busy days of sightseeing and another planned for tomorrow. I'll tell more and post photos after we are in Chicago. We are staying busy and having a great time which is keeping us from thinking too much about what we left behind, but we can't help having some sad moments, too. We'll see many of you soon!
