It's Christmas Time Again

After a long hiatus from the blog, I am back to entreat friends, family and anyone who has a heart for our China kids to consider a holiday donation to Eagles Wings. This year has been a difficult financial one for so many, and Eagles Wings is no exception. However, that has not stopped us from adding more children to our homes, going from 58 to 71 just since I left China in April!

Our holiday fundraiser this year will be to fund the annual Christmas party for the children and staff. This may seem like a frivolous thing, but in fact, it's very representative of what we are trying to do for these kids -- give them a life beyond just basic food and shelter. And a very little bit goes so far over there.

A $15 donation will provide a gift and special holiday meal for a child.

A $30 donation will provide for a child's holiday AND an ayi holiday bonus.

This year you will again be able to make a donation in someone's name and receive a handmade holiday card to give to your honoree. In addition, we will be matching donations to specific children so you can let us know the age and gender of child you would like to sponsor and we will let you know who benefited from your gift. Our children range in age from under a year old to fifteen, both boys and girls.
